Step into the captivating world of medieval Italy, where your journey to sainthood unfolds through a blend of strategy, faith, and military might. This game immerses you in a richly detailed narrative as you lead a burgeoning congregation, using their devotion as both a source of power and a means to conquer rival city-states. The gameplay revolves around real-time battles where you assemble a diverse array of sixteen unit types, each with unique abilities and strengths that require careful planning and strategy for success.
You can also cast spells to bolster your troops or hinder enemies, while terrain plays a significant role in tactical advantages. As you navigate through your campaign, your decisions shape not just the battlefield dynamics but also your character’s spiritual and political identity. Failure is not final; you can learn from past lives and adapt your strategies in new attempts.
