Dive into a darkly intriguing world where eldritch horrors plague London, creating a haunting backdrop for this Metroidvania Action-RPG. In Usurper, you navigate a sprawling citadel filled with nightmarish creatures, utilizing a unique "Guard" system that emphasizes skill and timing. Instead of losing health outright when hit, your character loses "Guard points," which act like a temporary shield. Mastering dodges and counterattacks allows you to regain these points, transforming the flow of battle and rewarding precise play.
The thrill of risk and reward keeps the gameplay engaging, catering to both newcomers and seasoned players seeking a challenge. With its atmospheric setting and innovative combat mechanics, this game is perfect for fans of skill-based action RPGs looking for a fresh twist on the genre.
